This place is old, a strong country feel. If you are into 5 star treatment its not for you.i have spiders and gecko in my bathroom. You could only hear crickets and lizards. I’m writing this as an American tourist that has been to all-inclusive resorts in Cancun and Costa Rica a few times (to help you American readers compare). This resort is 5 stars. Staff is very nice and helpful. The beach itself is amazing. Clear waters, white soft sand. Just watch out for the sea urchins. Staff can give you more details about that. Cute boutique resort where you can enjoy a quiet stay while only a short drive from beautiful beaches. The hosts make you feel like family and are very accommodating. Highly recommend!

Hammocks on the beach have nets around the coconuts so they don't fall on your head, staff smiles and says hello good morning how was your day, the grounds are manicured with no detail spared, the pool invites you for a swim, a beautiful beach,they have bacon for breakfast, they have an art gallery to enjoy paintings and a ping pong table, the tours arranged from the front desk are with your own driver and they are kind patient and knowledgeable, they have a DVD library to catch up on movies ......

Just a wonderful hotel with incredible staff, views and amenities. Just a perfect vacation destination.

Excellent staff! Room is clean. Some buildings look old from the outside but rooms are clean and modern. Spa staff are great! View is exquisite!

I don't know whe Expedia rates this hotel 3.5 stars. It's definitely a 4.5. The whole resort is impeccably designed with award winning furniture pieces by the great Kenneth Cobunpue, the rooms and respective bathrooms are perfect and super comfortable and spacious. My wife and I just spent 5 days at the Linaw. We had a great time overall and would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway without all the touristy attractions.
