"We share the positive reviews of many aspects of this property. It's very spacious (although the swing of some doors cause odd pinch points). We were only three, and would have used only the ground floor but for an issue (see later). The kitchen is well equipped, the induction stovetop was great to cook on. The location is properly noted, but Marie's L'épicerie in the village was closed for August vacation. (Which I imagine is an annual event.) That meant we needed to drive 6+ km for morning...

"A great place to stay. The house was absolutely lovely. Very clean and comfortable. There is a bakery in the village about a minutes walk away which is delicious. The house has a lovely patio outside and a garden. The hosts Marie Antoinette and Robert did so much to make us welcome and ensured we had a super holiday. They are the best hosts. Anyone who stays here will certainly love the property and the hosts!"

"The owners were very nice and helpful with everything. The small house has everything you need and more and you have a lot of privacy. Very beautiful and sweet town. We had both of our dogs there and they also enjoyed the freedom in the yard since everything is perfectly enclosed. "The property is overall good with perfect cleaniness. The kitchen has everything that is needed. The house is a bit aged (1970s maybe) and renovations are sometimes done without professional help, but everything works and is in good shape. One of the rooms is not really a room ( just a part of the Souterrain with a curtain). The garden is tiny and not really inviting. "Das Ferienhaus ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Einzig die glänzend weißen Fliesen überall sind Geschmackssache {der Nachbar ließ seine Schuhe immer vor der Haustür stehen}. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig, mit großem Supermarkt 200m entfernt. Auch gibt es eine Bushaltestelle in 100m, von wo man direkt in die Stadtmitte, zum Bahnhof oder gar in ein Weindorf {Turckweiler} fahren kann. Insgesamt ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt, sehr zu empfehlen."

"We enjoyed a great stay! The village is very close to so many other villages and larger towns in the Alsace. Carmen’s gite is spacious, very comfortable and very well maintained. It is extremely well equipped, there was absolutely everything we needed. We loved knowing our car and bicycles were safe as the fire and parking are behind an electric gated area.
