"We loved the fact that we had access to the whole waterfalls hikes and hot springs. We loved the breakfast. Dinner was ok didn’t like the fact that you had to reserve. We ate at the bar a couple of times, but choices were limited. We didn’t want to venture to town at night. I loved the birds and nature all around us. We would have preferred more privacy between our cabins. We couldn’t really sit out in the front or the back without seeing our neighbors come and go. But those were minor details, we really enjoyed this beautiful heaven on earth."

"The house is in a beautiful location. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub and breakfast was really nice. Patrick recommended some great activities that were perfect for our family and helped set up all the bookings. I would highly recommend staying here!"

"Hotel Guanacaste is pretty accurate in what it advertises, it is a good budget hotel with nice staff and owners. We were even treated specially for being returning customers and that is something to value. There is a bar outside and music can be loud in certain rooms, so pack some earplugs if you are a light sleeper, but other than that we were really happy with the experience."
