"First of all, this hotel lives up to its 3-star rating. The rooms are clean and spacious for one traveller. I reserved a non-smoking room, but unfortunately, the smell of cigarette smoke still lingers in the room. Unless the AC is on, the annoying cigarette smoke punishes me and forces me to get out of the room for fresh air.
Regarding the staff, it is needless to say that they are courteous, hardworking, attentive, and helpful (this is a Burmese thing!!). I am touched by their unwavering attention to requests.
Food, as this hotel offers free breakfast, seems quite cheap, the portions are not enough, and there is still room for improvement. I am glad that they adhere strictly to proper food and utensil handling. I am not nitpicking, but I would like to suggest pairing the salt shaker with pepper in the dining room.
I don’t expect free Wi-Fi to be fast enough to stream 4K videos and Netflix, so I am quite satisfied with what I get.
My biggest complaint is that some guests have no boundaries when it comes to noise, smoking, and loud public conversations. Sometimes, neighbourhood dogs fighting and howling, along with all the foot traffic and car traffic, wake me up in the middle of the night.
The elevator is working well, but I don’t see any accessibility features for disabled people.
Overall, this hotel is budget-friendly and fits my purpose for a long stay. I would rate this hotel 4/5."
