"Everyone at the Sarava Woodlands was kind, welcoming, and helpful. The service is impeccable, the grounds are beautiful, and it's very comfortable and welcoming. We had a workshop at the hotel with local community members. The hotel provided everything we needed--tea, snacks, lunch, projector, paper, writing materials, etc., for a very fair price. Our workshop members were very happy and the day went smoothly. My group had a miscommunication among us about transportation, but the hotel was able to arrange transportation at 9pm for an 8am pickup of 25 people the next day. Our group checkout was a little complicated, but Betty was a pro and managed everything quickly and professionally. I have no complaints at all about the hotel and will stay there again. "

"Excellent experience in rural Nakuru. This hotel has a retreat feel from the hustle and bustle of the surrounding area. Wonderful and respectful staff. Excellent dinning options with good variety of local cuisine and fresh fruits + vegetables. Entire meal has a farm to table feel to it. Clean rooms though the shower hotel hot water regulation can be a bit finicky. Fantastic experience all round."

"The Sopa Lodge gives an experience of a lifetime! I am well travelled but this is rare gem. The staff were the absolute kindest, most accommodating I’ve ever ran into and always knew our names. The grounds were breathtaking. The meals were so delicious. The room was absolutely adorable with an amazing view! I wished I had booked a week instead of 3 days. I can’t wait to bring more family and friends to experience this. "
