"A beautiful home for us to enjoy a peaceful 10 night honeymoon before returning to the cold of Scotland. Perfect seclusion but close to the beach for daily walks. The small village has everything required for self catering but a car is essential to explore the surrounding towns/ area. Sadly our last two days were interrupted with some drilling and work on the adjacent villa rooftops but this was promptly felt with by the owner and the local police. "The Villa is massive with very large rooms and just about larger en-suite bathrooms! It sits in wonderful grounds and is virtually silent both day and night which suited our requirements perfectly. There were only two of us so six bedrooms is somewhat of an overkill but the villa’s position on the island meant that we could do everything we wanted to do without spending hours driving. "Stayed in early December 2017, the villa is lovely. All facilities you need are provided by Filipe for a relaxing holiday. The area is nice and quiet but we loved that. There are a couple of larger towns close by for shops etc and we enjoyed nipping there in the mornings and having a coffee with the locals and watching the world go by. "es ist ein sehr schönes und extrem sauberes Haus. Alles war vorhanden und funktionierte tadellos. Einzig die TV Fernbedienung war völlig zerbrochen, brauchten TV aber eh nicht. Das Haus ist eine Art "Doppelhaus". Das die neuen englichen "Nachbarn" (3 Tage vor Abreise) entsprechend hörbar auffielen war etwas verstörend. Trotz allen, das Haus ist super."

The house is in a wonderfully quiet location in the mountains, but you can still quickly explore all the sights of the island by car (a car is a must). The covered terrace and pool also make staying in the house itself a pleasure. The house is very clean and functionally furnished."
