The Howard House is a freshly renovated vacation rental located in the heart of downtown Baileys Harbor, Door County, Wisconsin. Clean, modern, comfortable. This 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom house includes a fully outfitted kitchen, comfortable living space, private backyard and is located within walking distance of Door County Brewing, Chives Restaurant and the rest of Downtown Baileys Harbor.
As the hosts and managers of this home through our company, DoCo Vacations, we take a unique approach to hosting. Our goal is to maintain professional standards while still providing a personal touch. We pride ourselves on delivering a clean and fully furnished rental property and making sure our guests have all the necessary supplies. The cozy linens we provide are professionally laundered by our staff.

We have a small team that helps us take care of all the details at our properties, but we are not a large rental management company that has lost the personal connection with our guests. We strive to provide the best of both worlds: professional service with a personal touch.
We've been hosting guests for 5 years, and we know we always have to be accessible. Having said that, we pride ourselves on creating an automated and seamless experience whenever and wherever possible. You'll check in with a key pad deadbolt, receive all of your check-in instructions digitally, and browse a list of our favorite spots in Door County from our digital guidebooks.
Bailey's Harbor is central to all of Door County and the Howard House is central to Baileys Harbor. You're within walking distance of many great shops and restaurants, including Door County Brewing, Roost and Banter, Chives and the Cornerstone Pub. Egg Harbor, Fish Creek and Sister Bay are all within 20 minutes of your front door.
The Howard House is a freshly renovated 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom house with a range of amenities to make your stay comfortable. The fully stocked kitchen is equipped with everything you need to prepare meals, and fast WiFi is available to keep you connected. The private backyard is a great place to relax, and the central location in Baileys Harbor makes it easy to explore the area.

The water is horrendous, been lucky to travel a lot and the sulfur smell of the house water in the shower made us all sick. I sent an emails to the property owner but no response. Stay is beautiful but do not turn on the water

Wonderful home base for door County
Howard house is a perfect home from home in Bailey’s Harbor, Door County. Everything in the northern peninsula is within a 20 minute drive. The house is recently renovated, and very clean with all the amenities needed for a pleasant vacation, including tv and fast internet. There was plenty of room for the two of us, and a larger group would also be comfortable. Everything we needed for meal prep and cleanup was there in the beautiful kitchen/dining space, and the laundry facilities are excellent and very quick and easy to use for washing and drying clothes mid vacation. Check in was very easy, and the owners gave us all the information we needed when we needed it. Full marks to the owners for providing a wonderful experience.

Will definitely stay here again. Beds and pillows very comfortable! Clean. Easy to get into. Everything was well labeled. We went to Door County Brewing Company close by and played trivia first night(won a gift certificate)and listened to live music second night(free round from owner). Backyard of house nice also.

This house was perfect as a base of operations for a weekend in Door County. With great food, a winery, and Door County Brewing in walking distance we did not feel like we had to drive all over the peninsula in order to have a great experience. The house was well equipped and very comfortable for 2 couples.

Very nice, cute home, close to places to eat and things to do! Home was very clean & tidy...we hated to go home at the end of our stay, it was nice sitting on the front porch in the morning for coffee & watching the birds & squirrels. So quiet! Beautiful little town of Baileys Harbor.
