"This beautiful hotel is an homage to the craftsmanship of the past. It is a welcomed glimpse into the past where beauty and details were as important as function. The lobby is a grand first impression. The rooms have very high ceilings that give a feeling of openness in the rooms. The beds are very comfortable, but a little small for two adults. The rooms have a coffee maker and lots of little extras like makeup remover and a shower cap. We enjoyed our stay back somewhere in time."

"The hotel was nicely renovated but I have a big problem with the sink being in the foyer. Had to prop the bathroom door up against one of the beds to keep it open to have more room with the toilet. A little cluster phobic. The curtains block the air conditioner and ‘cool’ the windows but not the room. Had to prop up the curtains during the night to cool the room. If they shorten the curtains this would be an easy fix. We were the first down for breakfast at 0615. The waffle mix ran out after making the first one, the eggs and sausage were cold. Seems they never heated up the serving trays ahead of time. Could not find someone to tell but when we checked out I told the manager. The ‘up side’, the beds were very comfortable and overall room was pleasant."

"Room and public area are extremely clean and well maintained. Staff is SUPER! Breakfast is…Hampton Inn, but it gets you going in the morning. Kids really enjoyed the well maintained pool. Hotel is not new but appears new everywhere!! This is our 3rd stay here and we will definitely stay here when we visit our nearby family every few months."
