When in Cape Point, you can plan a visit to Cape Point Beach and Bakau Beach, some noteworthy sights in the nearby area.
Quite a nice place for the price. Big room with a balcony, good restaurant, minutes from the beach. Different types of outlets in the room so you don’t need a converter. Male staff members trying to chat you up are very annoying, so maybe not the most ideal for solo female travelers.

As mentioned, I double booked a second rez for a friend to test what was being offered on Expedia - meaning that my 2nd rez I effectively had 2 rooms reserved for the same day; however 3 rooms still shoed being available with private shower. The staff assured me that this time I would get the room ...

The views were stunning, pool was clean and the garden was tidy and nice. The room was fairly clean. Our safe was not reset when we arrived so we had to take it to be unlocked and reset. Also we got sick from the air con with a sore throat and dry mouth. It was good value for the money we paid!

I’ve been to Gambia many times, working with and for a non profit organization helping The Gambia people. Bakau is not different than other areas of the country where locals live, if you are on vacation you want to stay in a different area and hotel
