"I have friends who live in Baker City so I booked the Palmer House to have privacy and not be under their feet all the time. It worked out perfectly. I didn't use any of the kitchen things (not a coffee drinker) but was impressed with all that was available. The place truly was immaculate! The floors did squeak in places, but that is part of the charm of an old house. Great location and walkable to restaurants and downtown Baker."

"The house is full of history and stocked perfectly for a stay. The king bed in the master bedroom is super comfortable and the linens were lovely. The only issue was the house was infested with 100’s of flies (both dead and alive) and other bugs. Maybe it had something to do with the time of year but the bugs were a bit much."
