It had a nice pool area. Didn't get a chance to use it this time. Maybe next time. The staff was excellent and very helpful. The room was very clean and bedding was comfortable. parking was close and convenient. We usually are there for 1 night going to California and 1 night on our way back from California to Arizona. I find that for the price the rooms are just as nice as more expensive places. We would highly recommend staying here.

It was a nice room and very clean. The location is quite noisy from freeway traffic. We were happy with the white noise of the air conditioning which helped muffle road noise. One issue was that the security lock was jammed and I had difficulty with it unlocking. The front desk sent a repairman and also offered a replacement room.

Might as well have pitched a tent beside the interstate! That’s hyperbole, of course, but the ceaseless traffic noise was overwhelming and nearly unbearable. Notably, there are two buildings and perhaps the noise is significantly less disturbing in the building less close to I-5. I don’t have any other serious complaints. Check-in after my 1am arrival was smooth enough (although a different room assignment might have made for a better experience), the room was tidy, clean, comfortable, and pleasant for the price-point, and parking was straightforward. If I were dead set upon staying in Buttonwillow (vs Bakersfield) again, I’d probably choose a property situated farther from the highway, or at least request a room with less highway exposure.

Great quick stop along the 5 beds were very firm and don’t have many comfortable blankets but it was so affordable you know what you’re getting. Most importantly it was safe and clean. Better motel 6 experience I’ve had.
