Our room smelled like an old 70's smoking room & mold. It looked clean and the bed were nice. The carpet needed to be cleaned desperately as it turn my feet brown with dirt when I was barefoot. The staff was great, friendly and always smiling!! Thank you so much!!

This hotel had everything we needed. I especially appreciated the full kitchen. The whole place felt very homey. The staff was helpful and friendly. The only thing I didn’t like was the salt shaker that had course salt inside that the shaker had to grind. The salt came out too much. It would be better if they switched to standard salt shakers. Other that, our stay was perfect. I will definitely stay again.

I usually like staying at Towne Place but this time was disappointing. We checked in around 930pm and had to wait for a staff member to clean the hallway to get to the elevator, and when the door opened there was something in the floor that was quickly sprayed and wiped up. We went in and it was clear someone had just been sick. The stinch was horrendous. It should’ve been stopped and sanitized, it was so bad. There was another elevator so I’m not sure why we were waived into that one by staff. We had a king room that was smaller than their usual king size, and the pullout couch butted up to the end of the bed so you couldn’t walk across the room to get to the bathroom if the couch was made into a bed. We have another trip planned at the end of the month and I’m considering looking elsewhere to stay. Disappointed for sure.

Came for a family event. Let us check in early and was able to get ready in the room parking was easy and lots of room room was very clean. Well appointed staff was lovely and morning. Breakfast was pretty good. Had coffee on the patio weather was perfect

Thank you so much for the services at your hotel. My sister and I were not disappointed. Our 2-bdrm was perfect and the breakfast/coffee spread was the best I've ever had! The concierge service was also most pleasant. We will most definately keep this hotel as our Bakersfield stay in the future.

Comfortable, good rest

Friendly staff helped with checkin. There was a problem with my TV, but front desk was able to get someone up to look at it in a timely manner. Maintenance person was friendly and helpful, and was able to fix the issue pretty quickly. Didn't realize there was a kitchen; next time I am down here, I will make sure to take advantage. Overall, an excellent stay.

A trip home

Christina was awesome. She saved the day after a disappointing stay at another hotel brand (not Marriott) she greeted us with a smile, and the best attitude that just makes you smile and be happy. The room was perfect. The location was on par, and she even carried my laundry up to my hotel room as I use a cane. Christina deserves a raise and she has made our trip a trip to remember and now we are looking into booking more townplace suites on our vacations.
