"Not that it was a bad issue but the pool was being remodeled and was closed. So my wife decided to use the jet tub in the king suite. The jets did not work and black flaky stuff came out of the tubes. Overall it was a great stay and the staff was great. I cannot remember her name, but she was the hostess/waitress in the restaurant for breakfast and she was great! Very kind and helpful! Appreciated that very much."

"The grounds are very pleasant. I needed to change original room due to very strong musty smell as well as super strong varnish odor. Owners were very quick to offer another room. So I do feel satisfied with that. Not the cleanest but was very affordable compared to other places in the area. I guess I got what I paid for. But I wouldn’t stay again."

"This is a run down old motel with a lot of deferred maintenance. There appears to be no effort made to remodel, update freshen up or improve the property. The room smelled very stale. Worn, dirty carpet. Dark. Minimal lighting. Small rooms. Needs paint. Owner/manager lives on premise. Can't or won't communicate. Don't know if he speaks English. After viewing the room, I forfeited my non-refundable 1 night rent and stayed elsewhere. I can't believe Expedia includes this motel on their listings."
