"The owner will send you everything you need to have a perfect stay. There is no cell service so plan your route in advance, as she suggests, and I recommend arriving in the daylight if you can. If you love the quiet, living in the trees and a cozy fireplace, this is the perfect place."

"Stayed here with 5 other retired women friends. We loved this unique old farmhouse and the property. It was fun to think about all of the other people who had stayed and lived in this house in the past 125 years. We loved sitting on the deck to watch the sun come up in the morning and the moon at night. The views are beautiful. It's a few miles out of Spring Green but that didn't bother us. Check out Woods Bar and Grille in Lone Rock . It's a fun bar nearby."

"The property is spacious and granted our group, who was traveling in for a local wedding, enough space to each have our own rooms (one master with king bed and ensuite, and three other rooms with queen sized beds) and also cook many of our own meals. The kitchen is incredibly well stocked with dishware and some small appliances and cookware. There is also a great quality grocery store 20 minutes to the east in Mt Horeb. The ability to do laundry on property was also invaluable.If there are any questions or concerns about the property please reach out to the host. I had a very easy time reaching out to them to ask questions during check in and before booking the property."
