The Location is spectacular with incredible views. The safari excursions are fabulous. The Guides are great. Our guide Nicole was fabulous, friendly and informative. This is the way to safari!!! Its a must for everyone, especially families! You'll remember this forever!!!"

"I loved staying at the Hotel Roosje van de Kaap - Helpi was so welcoming and super friendly. The hotel has a restaurant but is also close to other dining options. There's also onsite parking - I'd definitely stay again next time I'm in Swellendam."

"Very nice B&B. Room was spacious and very nicely decorated. Properly was lovely. Gardens, pool, spa. There was a resident Zebra and a small herd of Springboks. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast delicious, many choices, both buffet and hot, fresh made. Would highly recommend!"

"Amazing hospitality from Melani! Perfect escape for relaxation and getting in touch with nature. Our rooms were modern and well equipped with stunning views of the mountains. There was access to hiking trails directly from the property. We really enjoyed walking into town and lazing around the heated pool. Added joy of having the most well behaved and loving dogs we have ever met! Even if you are not a dog lover, Kenya and Luca will respect your space. Can’t wait to return! "

"This is a very special place. The hosts are a lovely warm hospitable couple who have planned everything with great thought and and fine eye for quality and detail. The whole property is spacious and serene. The rooms and bathrooms spacious and beautifully styled. The breakfasts are amazing - a huge choice of specialist teas, homemade granola, preserves and pastries, cheeses, the most fantastic seedy bread! And a great range of very tasty well cooked hot options. All served in a light and airy sunny room overlooking the gardens. The pool is perfect with sufficient loungers for all the rooms spaced for maximum privacy. The grounds are very secluded and private, with lovely trees, shrubs and water features attracting a myriad of birdlife. It is a lovely lovely place. "
