We had an excellent stay at the Oberoi. All the staff were attentive and so sweet. From check in with Vindi who was so great at telling us all we needed to know. The grounds are so beautiful, the beach was perfect, the pools were clean and so refreshing! Oh and the food! Fantastic! The rooms are maintained well and we had turn down service every evening with beautiful towel designs. Special shoutout to Natasha and Niki at the Herb Trail restaurant who was super friendly and accommodating. Maya at the spa gave the best body scrub and massage. We now plan on visiting all the Oberoi locations as soon as possible! Definitely our favorite stay in Mauritius so far! My husband and 1 can’t stop raving about our stay! Thank you for creating such a serene, beautiful and luxurious experience!!

Perfect romantic beach vacation. Hotel could not have been more accommodating with early check in and late checkout, and our villa with private pool was divine. Every tiny thing is thought of, from bug spray in the rooms to free snorkel hire from the water sports desk so we could swim straight out from the beach. Not cheap but worth every penny

Our stay at the Oberoi was amazing in every aspect. The room was incredible. Service was the best of any hotel I’ve ever visited. In particular, Jeremy on the beach was a legend. Fantastic water sport options. The snorkelling was some of the best we’ve ever done anywhere. Best of all, the food was divine, including outstanding local options.

Excellent!

It was excellent from start to finish. The attention to detail was second to none and we have stayed in quite a few high end resort hotels. I was ill when we arrived and they took good care of me and it was an ideal place to rest and restore. Harry the chef looked after our dietary requirements and prepared bespoke menus for is each day. If we didn’t make it breakfast they would arrange a later breakfast for us. The spa was fabulous and the choice of massages is vast.

Incredible from start to finish

I cannot speak highly enough of this hotel. I’d go back in a heartbeat. We went for our baby moon and unfortunately I ended up with an upset stomach from some food outside the hotel. I’m 7 months pregnant so they sent a doctor, arranged for me to be seen by a hospital and then later arranged a private scan for me to check the baby. During this time, they also sent broths to the room, kept us constantly stocked up on water and nearly every member of staff we encountered asked how I was feeling every day. They went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable during what could have been a really difficult time (being away and ill pregnant is pretty tough). They even left flowers in our room and a get well card. Not just this though, the service was simply impeccable. I’m vegan and my husband is vegetarian. I also have a suffer dairy allergy. Everyone was aware. Every morning I was offered a wonderful new option for breakfast- vegan pancakes, crepes, tofu scramble. And they would adjust anything needed or get the chef to create something. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble. I cannot rave about this place enough. It has set the standard and I fear no where else will ever match up. We will definitely be going back. Also, a special thank you to Natacha who (along with the other staff) made this the best experience even during sickness!

We had an extremely wonderful experience. The amenities were spectacular. The resort staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home. All the family members are going back with wonderful memories. We will visit the Oberoi Mauritius again. Next time, with more family members, as it's a place that would be greatly enjoyed with larger groups as well.

The service was excellent. The food was pretty hit and miss. Indian dishes all great but some others were slightly less so.

If you want a 5 star retreat go elsewhere

Asvertised as a five star, but it certainly is not 5 star. Grass verges snd general condition of gardens and foot paths are terrible.

Welcoming staff , helpful. Got an upgrade . They need to work on cleaning of rooms and even public areas. Food great with lots of options. Had the best dolphin watching trip with Roshik
