Desert Palms Hotel & Suites

"We stayed here for two nights with our two kids, ages 7 and 8, in a one-bedroom suite with bunk beds. Overall, it was a decent stay with some positives and drawbacks. The location is convenient, about a 12–17 minute walk to the parks for an average walker. However, other nearby properties offer similar convenience with more spacious rooms. Our kids loved the bunk beds, and the beds were comfortable. Unfortunately, the suite felt cramped for a family of four. It was difficult for two people to move around without bumping into each other or having to step aside. The property is showing its age, and the soundproofing could be better. I could hear our neighbor snoring at night, along with pipes and water running through the walls when guests in other rooms used their showers. Light sleepers should keep this in mind. Parking was crowded, and the $31 daily fee was disappointing, especially since there is no shuttle to the parks or many other amenities. On the plus side, the included breakfast was good and practical, with plenty of seating. Service was good overall, the lobby was welcoming, and the kids’ area—with Disney movies playing 24 hours a day—was a nice touch. Overall, this hotel offers family-friendly features and a convenient location, but the cramped rooms, noise, and parking fee make it worth comparing with other nearby options before booking."

"This was our second stay here at the Anaheim Hotel. We came back simply because the hotel is in such a perfect location when visiting Anaheim for your Disneyland vacation. The park is not only less than a 5 min walk to the entrance, but also super close (basically next door) to other places you may need to visit during your stay - such as 7-11, A-Mart, Subway, McDonalds, Panera Bread etc. Also the Pizza Press restaurant located right on property is excellent and a great place for lunch or dinner during your stay. We had lunch there when we arrived and grabbed a pizza on our way back from closing the park when we were hungry. The pool is the biggest reason we keep coming back! It is not a dumpy looking motel pool in the middle of the parking lot. This pool area makes you feel like you’re on vacation and is such an inviting space that makes you want to stay and relax before going back to the park. In my opinion this is what sets this hotel apart from the others on Harbour Blvd. The staff here is also very friendly! Check-in staff are welcoming, and they have staff members standing outside the front door greeting guests as they come and go. This place is a great choice for your visit to Disneyland and I also ready have my sights set on making another booking when we come back for 2027 since we visit the resort annually."
