"Very nice place, excellent staff,very good food( a la carte restaurant is excellent),nice pool in and out, very nice beach with excellent staff and good music( but a little far, 15 min by car).The hotel is still good, but needs some renovation. A good vacation after all."

"Staff were very helpful with ordering taxis, storing our bags before and after and everything else. Room was immaculate every day and the pool facility was lovely. The adjoining cafe was fantastic as well!"

"Staff was very helpful but at times didn’t follow through. We asked for help with separating the beds and that help never came. Room was clean but when we separated the beds it was clear they’ve not cleaned underneath Elevators were slow and then one stopped working. Hotels seemed to be almost at capacity so the wait was very long. Beautiful views but prepare to have late nights without sleep as the hotel is in the middle of the resort and there is a lot of noise and lights. Curtains help with the light. You can use some ear plugs tho if you want to turn in early."

"Clean rooms. Mini bar in the rooms. Quiet street.Location is close to the GrandMall and many shops and restaurants. Hotel is close to main bus lines that connect with all the other parts of the town, resorts, airport and Coach Station is 5-10 minutes walking distance. Reasonable prices for the quality it offers. Location!Location! Location!"

"The price was good comparitively for this area at this time, but as a seaside location, Varna is still more expensive than other Bulgarian cities. I did have buffet breakfast included, however. The buffet seems to be normally rated as excellent, but I would just say that it was ok. Yes, there was a selection similar to most full buffets, but more modest in size, perfectly edible but not special, and the prices and quality when I had one dinner I would describe as similarly ok, but just average. The staff were great, and the room was clean with everything I needed, and the location was great for me, travelling with heavy bags, because it is only about 200metres from the train station, and other transport options to Varna are limited. You can fly, but there aren't many flights, long range buses don't run every day, and train travel is very cheap. I have found the trains reliable, even though they look and feel like they are held together with cloth tape :) You can walk from this hotel to anywhere at the Port, beautiful Sea Garden, or the centre, if you are happy with 15-30 minute walks. The hotel standards in Varna, in spite of it being a major Black Sea resort town, are not as good as in Sofia or Plovdiv, so travellers should try to reach up an extra star rating to get what they normally expect. The city has a lovely location, however. My overall good rating, therefore, reflects that this was a comfortable and good option in Varna, and I will stay here again."
