"This was our first stay on BHI as a family (2 adults, 2 toddlers, 1 dog) and the house was perfect for our small family. We mostly used the 6-person golf cart (LOVED that it had seatbelts for the littles) and it easily fit all our beach gear and the dog. We took advantage of the BHI Club membership and had a blast going to the pool every morning and exploring the beaches in the afternoons. The house was in a great proximity to everything, and it was a lot of fun scoping for alligators from the living room windows. The house was nicely stocked, there really wasn’t anything I needed that I couldn’t find. I would definitely recommend this house to friends and family!"

"My husband and I were on BHI with our entire family. We chose this location to be able to visit with family, but then have our own quiet retreat. This property was an excellent choice for us. The owner laid out clear instructions for our arrival. The property was clean and we found the property description to be accurate. We found the witches' stairs easy to navigate, but if someone is having mobility issues they may want to reconsider. There was plenty of room for us to not be on top of each other and we enjoyed having 2 separate bathrooms...one upstairs and one downstairs. We completely enjoyed this property and look forward to visiting again in the future!"

"If you are looking for a house to stay at on BHI, take a look at Even Keel!! Everything listed in the posting was at the house. No surprises!! We even asked for a crock pot, and the owner bought one for the house for us!!! This house has everything you need for a fun, relaxing family vacation!! One thing we appreciated is that there are 2 master bedrooms on the main level! This was convenient for our family and any family with elderly parents or disabilities who don't/can't use steps!! The house has a large screened in porch (with an open porch as well) for families to sit and enjoy family time with plenty of seating! It has 2 golf carts (6 person and 4 person) that were in good shape and worked well (except for the Michigan State color and logo - LOL)!!! The house also has plenty of beach chairs and beach towels for you to use and leave yours at home!!! Overall, I give this house a 5 star rating and would stay there again!!"

"The house was beautiful, amenities were perfect, we loved having meals in the screened in porch . The outdoor shower was super convenient for hosing off kids . The location was convenient to the beach , the marina , to shops and restaurants on the island. Keith was a great host , very patient and helpful throughout our stay. We would highly recommend this listing."
