"The property is secluded and very quiet and lovely for a weekend get away. No tv which we found a nice change. The seating inside the cottage wasn't great for us, being in our 60's, it would have been nice to have a lounge to sit and snuggle up on. Overall a really nice place, very clean and tidy and the host was friendly and very helpful."

"Alan and Aryna were the perfect hosts, nothing was too much trouble for them. A lovely warm greeting on arrival, a tour of our cabin and all the information we needed to enjoy our stay. Breakfast was amazing with endless amounts offered of fresh produce, fresh fruit, yougurt, cereals etc, not to mention the delicious fresh croissants and danishes every morning. "From the moment we arrived we were impressed! Noel greeted us and showed us around the property and we felt instantly welcomed and relaxed. There has been a lot of attention to detail including home made food in the fridge and pantry and the fluffiest robes ever. The cabin was in pristine condition and the local kookaburras kept us company each morning."

"We had a wonderful stay. The cottage is so very beautiful. My only note to the hosts would be to be a little clearer to guests that the kitchen doesn't have an oven, just the cooktop. (It was clear there was no microwave, but we were a little surprised there was no oven either). But we had a good adventure using the wood-fired pizza oven instead. Other than that tiny suggestion, we had a very lovely time."

"This was an amazing stay. The cottage suited us perfectly for a quiet time to relax and invigorate. The owner has seen to everything in detail, the extra touches are so thoughtful. The location was perfect for us, with quiet and privacy in a magnificent garden, yet not isolated as the main strip of Montville is merely a 5-minute drive away. With a grocery store, eateries and restaurants. We will definitely go back there! 5 star plus!!"

"Possums retreat is absolutely gorgeous! It's in a great location and close to everything you need. The fire place and the hydrotherapy spa was a massive win for us. Most importantly, the communication with the owners was exceptional. They even supplied a hamper with fresh fruit, danishes, crossiants and a freshly homemade loaf of bread which was super delicious. "Upon arrival, the cottage was presented as per the photos. The beds are super comfy, the cottage was very clean with lots of books and games to keep you entertained. We enjoyed our stay. The only thing that was a bit annoying is the property is located on a main street and the front bedroom can be a bit noisy. This may not be an issue if you are staying during the weekend, however, during the week the traffic noise can be disruptive to sleep. Recommend earplugs if you're a light sleeper."
