The room was clean but smelled of old cigarettes. The washer and dryer worked, but the coin slot stuck and the wash load was very small for 2.00 a load. The hot breakfast was basic and salty. The staff was nice and always willing to answer questions. Open space was clean, painted and fresh smelling.

Nice bright hallways, we felt safe, I can tell the owners are working at updating things. A mix of good- nice curved shower curtain rod, air worked great, big fridge in the room, great water pressure. On the negative - elevator needed to be cleaned, small thing but ai think it would make guests instantly feel better, breakfast was disappointing, a little mildew around the faucet in our tub. Overall, it was fine. It has character and I think it will continue to improve as things get worked out. We'd stay here again if need be but wouldn't be our first choice.

The front desk clerk at check in was so nice, the room was the perfect temp, bed soft and pillows just right. Amazing water pressure so you can take a good shower and it doesn't take 5 hours to rinse your hair

40 miles from St Paul; convenience to our event w/out the St Paul stay price. Right off the highway, but very quiet. Pool and hot tub operating when we had encountered previous places where the hot tub wasn't available. Continental breakfast was just enough. Just need better coffee, just not a great cup of coffee.
