"Skye is a special place and Braken Hide is great. The restaurant is amazing. Incredible breakfast and dinner. Most amazing is the service of the head waiter who is unfailing friendly and efficient. The tiny rooms are actually quite comfy. The shower was outstanding -- great water pressure. Its hard to sit up in bed because of the sloping ceiling, but otherwise very comfy and efficient. Amazing view from the front porch. "

"This property is beyond special and like no place we've ever stayed before. Not only is the drive to it AMAZING, but the property itself has a picturesque setting of free range grazing land and views of the sea. Such a welcoming environment and home... including a handwritten note from the property manager. The home has a lovely decor with modern conveniences... but also has a feel of stepping back in time. As charming as can be!!! Rabbits, birds, cows, sheep are all around this area and property, as well as several gorgeous Isle of Skye landmarks. We were teary eyed upon arrival, as well as when time to leave. Just that special of a place! Could not recommend this property more highly!"

"We loved this hotel. It was in a quiet area, easy to find, and while their resturaunt was closed the night we arrived, staff provided great recomendations nearby. The hotel is comvenient for Dunvegan castle and fairy pools. We had a car situation and had to wait for service to come tow us and staff were incredibly flexible and allows us to stay slightly passed checkout. The hotel is comfortable, and has amazing kind and helpful staff. I especially liked the cows living next door, they werent highlands, but fun to watch graze around. We were very happy with our stay and loved the space. "
