"The staff are lovely and the stay was fine. The reason for my rating is that Expedia lists the property as a five star whereas we would put it as a two or three star. The price is in line with a lower star rating. Something to be aware of if you are booking so as to manage your expectations."

Shower ceiling had black mould, hopefully they fix that soon."

"We absolutely loved staying here in Dingle. Collette who checked us in was lovely and so helpful with tips of things to do and see during our stay. This is a new hotel and they truly have done an exceptional job with bringing this property to the market. The location is also excellent. We only stayed one night but as we plan to go back to Dingle again we will certainly book The Gable."

"We thoroughly enjoyed out two night stay at Barrow Lodge from the minute we arrived to when we left. Clodagh is an exceptional hostess, giving us the warmest welcome, and really useful advice on where to go for food and what to see. The room was big, clean with a lovely view of the estuary. Breakfast was fabulous. We've been recommending it to everyone since we left as it's a little gem and we'd definitely go back. If you're in the area, stay here!"

"The property has good hotel standard bedrooms, but the minimum of hotel facilities. That is not a criticism but it means that if you only want good accommodation you're not paying for things you don't need. The front desk is staffed 24 hours. Staff are pleasant and helpful.
