Beautiful rustic cabin is an oasis right on the waters of White Ash Lake. Private boat dock provides access to 130 acre North White Ash Lake located in Polk County where fishing includes Pansfish, Largemouth Bass, and Northern Pike at a maximum depth of 9 feet. Enjoy fishing, swimming, waterskiing, sightseeing, bird watching, and cruising the lake on your favorite watercraft in summer or fishing, snowmobiling, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, and ice skating, in winter. Spring and Fall boast beautiful foliage and changing colors, spectacular sunrises and sunsets, hiking and biking the many scenic trails, the sounds of swans, geese, and ducks, as well as tranquility and relaxation. Guests can explore the Apple River by kayak or row boat and discover further lake activities by accessing the 8 other lakes within a 15 mile radius. Casual and fine dining as well as friendly and fun local atmosphere can be found in the charming village of Balsam Lake, close to the cabin. Public boat launch on north end of the lake for you to bring your own water craft.

This cozy cabin is the quintessential lake get-away for family fun and relaxation. Kiddos enjoy their own downstairs retreat with living space, sleeping accommodations, and full bath while upstairs are 2 more bedrooms and another bath as well as separate living space and fireplace. Enjoy your morning coffee while looking out over a stunning view of White Ash Lake from the living room or deck.

This well equipped cabin sleeps up to 6 and has everything you need to feel right at home. Enjoy board games, family movie nights, prepare dinner on the deck, or in the well stocked kitchen, or go out to experience the local scene with just a short drive into town.

Located only 80 miles from the Minneapolis St Paul airport.

Note: Incline from dock may be steep for some visitors. Use caution. Also shiplap log stairs to basement have a sharp incline. Recommend going up and down like a ladder.

I wish we had booked a longer stay! Enjoyed coffee on the deck overlooking the lake in the morning, watched eagles from the living room window and saw beautiful sunsets from the dock.

We had a wonderful time at the cabin on Balsam Lake! The downstairs area was perfect for the kids and we had plenty to do between fishing and the kayaks. We braved the seaweed in the middle of the lake for a short swim but were happiest on top of the water.

Quick trip from the Twin Cities!

Wonderful property, photos and descriptions do it justice. Cabin is clean and well stocked with kitchen supplies, games and floaties. Quick trip from the cities, it’s nice to feel like you’re alway without being too far away!

Such an amazing stay. The firepit near the lake and the dock were awesome. The cabin itself had everything you need! Super clean and organized. Would recommend to anybody looking to get away for a few days!

Great place for family to meet

We loved our time there. Have a couple of suggestions: have a flashlight available; I would also put a light and address numbering at the top of the driveway.

Relaxing northern retreat

We greatly enjoyed our stay at the cabin, and were very comfortable in the home! Although my parents are in their 80's, they had no problem negotiating the stairs down to the dock, and loved watching the sun set from the bench out on the dock. Great fishing, bird watching (we saw loons and trumperter swans among many other kinds of birds), fun kayaking and paddle boarding lake, too! Highly recommend for a fun stay.

Fall Lake Get a way

Our family of six enjoyed a well appointed, comfortable and very clean cabin on a lake. Everything we needed-well stocked kitchen, plenty of sleeping and sitting place plus movies and games made a huge hit with our family. We hope to return.

Quiet lakehouse

Very nice lake home with nice lake view and comfortable deck/patio. Nice location with access to many other lakes in the area. The host was quick to respond to questions as we figured out the area. We enjoyed seeing the eagles come and go to the nesting area next to the house. Very peaceful and perfect for a quiet relaxing stay with lake views

We had such a great long weekend at your cute cabin! Everything was exactly what the description said. This house was perfect for us and our baby and was close enough to my girlfriends staying at another property. Would definitely come back!

Great Experience

This was our first cabin adventure and we had a wonderful time! The cabin was fully stocked and well equipped with gas grill, fishing gear and kayaks. The check-in and check-out processes were easy and the neighbors were very friendly. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed our entire trip.

Very cozy with the fireplace. The view was so nice. Winter wonderland. Was very well stocked. Lots of room for 6 adults. Hope to experience the cabin in the summer or fall.

Great getaway!

We had a nice time staying at the Beasley cabin n. The place is clean and nicely furnished. I was thrilled to find a great mattress on the king bed! We slept like babies. The property is beautiful. Nice little no dock. Husband would bring fishing gear if we return. We met friends for beers at Balsam Lake Brewery. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Perfect getaway

We had a fantastic long weekend getaway. The lake is calm and peaceful. My girls loved having use of the kayaks and swimming right off of the dock. Fishing is great for first timers as a lot of little blue gills are constantly biting. The cabin itself is updated and modern having all the necessities. We loved our stay and are already planning for next summer’s return!

Clean and cozy

We were two friends who were looking for a cozy place to get away for the weekend and craft. It was perfect for us. Very comfortable with a fireplace for a chilly weekend. We enjoyed the bright sunny windowed porch with the table to work at. We might be back next winter!

Serene and comforting

Beautiful cabin on small lake with a resident eagle, flocks of geese and swans with babies. The cabin is excellent size and furnished with all you need. Situated in Wisconsin close to hiking and biking trails. The conversations with the property owners was timely and our stay was complete in knowing this cabin was cared for by family. Sitting on the deck or dock was a bit chilly but was like watching a nature show in front of us. Perfect for a weekend getaway and longer. Thank you we hope to return.

Loved it!

This was a great cabin for our family.The lake was peaceful and quiet-perfect for us. We loved taking the kayaks across the lake. Our kids caught and released fish easily. They loved the downstairs bed nooks just for them. The kitchen was stocked with more than enough cook wear and spices needed. Also saw a bald eagle on the tree outside. Definitely would recommend this great place!

Lovely Cabin

Very quiet and peaceful cabin. Enjoyed our stay very much. We met our children and grandchildren here. Cabin was clean and very comfortable with room for all. Cooked outside on the gas grill and had a lovely visit. This cabin is very nice and nestled in a beautiful setting. I had a few questions for the owner. Her response was very prompt and courteous. We would not hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone else. Very satisfied. Thanks.

Great fishing lake

This cabin is the perfect getaway for someone who enjoys a quiet fishing lake. Not recommend for families with small children as the stairway to the lower level is very steep without a good railing. Also, the steps to the lake are cement without a railing. We enjoyed our stay and found the cabin to be comfortable. The hosts were very helpful with answering questions. The lake is weedy & mucky, so not good for swimming, but we drove to Balsam Lake public beach several times. There are two nearby convenience stores for quick necessities, and Walmart is about 20 minutes away for bigger shopping. Overall, a very nice place to stay with a few quirks.
