The staff was incredible and the hotel felt safe and secure (despite what other reviews say about the area in Baltimore). The room was comfortable, but we had issues with the door knob and shower. Can't emphasize enough how helpful the staff was and it is clear they care about the property and are working on improving it. I would easily stay here again.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Short walk to Camden Yards, although the neighborhood is a bit dodgy. Room was OK size, but quite 'worn out'. Signs in the elevator that vaping, loud noise, and damaging furniture was immediate eviction; sign of the location the hotel occupies. Cheapest OK alternative within walking to the game, but be aware of where you are.
Falsely advertised
They say thereās parking but NO
Itās street parking or parking garages on the block. They do not own them
Parked there and itās $20 a day
Pulled in and still got a ticket for $78. The garage closes at 6:30pm and you have no access to your vehicle.
The area is rough, in the middle of Baltimore so itās not for everyone.
The room was not two queens they were fulls for sure. Floor boards all coming up and cutting our feet.
Shower was rusty
Good things
- fridge in room
- microwave
- no bugs
- clean sheets
- air worked
- it smelled really good
- breakfast was edible
Wouldnāt recommend. Dirty carpets holes in the sheets. Not kid friendly at all.

Confusion about breakfast offering. Some Expedia sections say weekend only breakfast and others say everyday. Not impressed by the breakfast offerings - we walked to a cafe to get breakfast. Breakfast floor was sticky. Great location with lots of dining options within walking distance. Short walk from Lexington market light rail station. Area around the hotel appeared a little bit unsafe
Unfortunately the wifi did not work at all, I had to use my hotspot for three hours to finish a business presentation which used all my data for the month. The staff was very friendly though

I was very surprised of it's accommodations... Breakfast, great rooms, but only issue is WiFi is slow, but other than that, a great stay...will stay againš
Staff was friendly and helpful. Everything was outdated and no consideration for other guests. Could hear next rooms conversation thru walls. No onsite parking. Rooms were very small and looked nothing like pictures in photos which were generic. Breakfast was frozen eggs and sausage patties that you had you microwave.
The worst hotel I have ever stayed at in my life. Rooms smell like smoke. People hanging out in the hallways and by the front door. Felt so unsafe we left 30mins after check in. Front desk refused to refund and only offered to change rooms. Horrible for kids. No hot water in the room.
The hotel was within walking distance of the concert venue. I was able to walk to public transportation and restaurants. The hotel provided breakfast. The staff was friendly and efficient. The hotel was a good price for the amount of time that I needed to stay. La Quinta has earned a returning customer.

It wasnāt bad
My stay was good was there with a co worker and we had a good time. Although there is a lot of homeless people allow in there knowing people are coming out of town makes the reviews bad my stay was comfortable the bathroom was remodel and clean I would recommend new toilet seats be renewed and new beds and blankets they do have stains on them this hotel has so much potential if it makes the necessary upgrades
Not clean, rooms are small, all the doors are messed up, NOT SAFE AT NIGHT.

Baltimore
Not located in the best area no parking in front of hotel to off load bags. bed pillows where chair pillows not good for sleeping. Lots of outside noise
Our first room door wouldnāt lock on its own so we were moved to another room. The room we were relocated to shower didnāt work and tv didnāt work also. But the staff was friendly and accommodating.
the best part about this hotel is the convenience. it's in close proximity/walking distance to everything. the worst part is the lack of parking. the hotel has no parking but there are several parking garages nearby and street parking. both of which you have to pay separately for. the neighborhood is loud and shady. contrary to other reviews i read i did not encounter any bed bugs, roaches or rats, but the cleanliness is definitely lacking. the beds were comfortable but the property itself definitely needs some better upkeep. not the worst hotel I've ever stayed in but far from the best. it's downtown Baltimore, so expect inner city living for sure. iykyk. didn't exactly feel safe leaving the hotel at night but during the day was fine. to sum it up, you get what you pay for. no serious complaints but nothing to rave about either.
.
The bed was clean and comfortable That's the only positive .
Everything else was worn out- like used garage sale furniture , the door was missing paint. The lock didn't work. It STANK of cigarette and pot smoke. The phone didn't work and was labeled with wrong room.
The neighborhood outside was not safe past dark.

I was told the entire hotel has only two (2) accessible rooms (I am mobility impaired). One was reportedly booked for the entire month, and the other eas allegedly occupied for two of the five days I planned to stay. I plan to file a detailed report with Baltimoreās civil rights division when I get home, and withe regional marketing manager. It is obvious that facility was once attractive and has fallen on hard times. I did appreciate easy access to waffles, cereals, cold milk, fresh fruit, tea and coffee. Staff were courteous, several time there no one at the desk. There was a horrendous shouting match among two, (maybe three) men) and a woman that went on way too long). I didnāt dare poke my head out of my 4th-floor door. I had to lose my temper to get a chair for the tub, as my balance is not reliable enough to stand without grab bars. I am 84 years old. I donāt lose my temper often. I am only 5ā, and the mattress was too high for me to lie down; I had to scoot across on my butt the swing my legs up to get onto the bed. My $538 rate was at least affordable, but I would have paid $100 more for grab bars, a walk-in shower and a stepstool! There are enough rooms to set aside one accessible room on every floor. I would appreciate a reply. Thank you
