"We were lucky to get early check in, the process was smooth and friendly. Our room was excellent, large and clean, it all felt new and good quality. The bed was so cosy!!! Gorgeous duvet and comfy mattress! The bathroom is large and clean with a walk in shower. Our room was to the back of the pub in a separate building, so no noise disturbance, it was very quiet at night. Cunningham's bar is a lovely old fashioned type pub, plenty of seating, delicious food and a good atmosphere. All the staff wre friendly and helpful. It was busy on a Saturday night with live music. There are parking spaces but they were full, so we had to park up on a wide path with a kerb - not ideal, bumped the underside of the car coming off it. However it was free and on-street parking is not. "

"What a happy little place this is! Stayed for one night and the staff were friendly and helpful everywhere. The room was lovely and the bed super comfy. The restaurant was busy so had dinner in the bar. The food was incredible! And the breakafst was really nice too. Overall this is a great place, really happy vibe, great food and great service. I don’t play golf so can't comment on that aspect"

"Really enjoyed everything about our stay. The staff at the castle and at Hermione’s restaurant were friendly and helpful, the food was brilliant, the room wasspacious and the bed was comfy, the spa was very relaxing… no complaints and would definitely stay again."

"Very nice room including a lovely bathroom. Quiet hotel. Free parking. Friendly staff. My only complaint is that we wanted to watch Netflix before bed and we couldn’t figure out how to connect to Netflix on the TV. We watched Irish TV instead. "
