A very warm welcome from the team.The tent was cosy, as was the bed on the cold nights. Great to hear the local animals during the night, with wonderful day visits from the ellies.

We had a wonderful stay. The game drives are Professional, all of our questions were answered, the staff was friendly and took good care of us. The location was perfect. We could watch the animals from the terrace. We'd love to come back. Thank you for the lovely stay.

We absolutely love this game lodge which is why its our 5th time visiting. Whenever we come to Greater Kruger we start with several days relaxing at Raptor Retreat because it is so quiet, comfortable and friendly. Staff and hosts are excellent, as is the meals and surroundings. Our spirit place

This was my second time staying at Raptor Retreat and it was just as good as the first. Our lodging, the Hippo Cottage, was huge, very well equipped and had a wonderful view of the river and the animals. One morning, we saw a parade of elephants right by our window. I also loved the soaking bathtub that also had a great view. We did three amazing game drives with Keith, the owner of Raptor Retreat on which we saw an incredible variety of animals including a huge herd of elephants, hippos and both male and female lions. Finally, we had several excellent massages from Nancy. I highly recommend Raptor Retreat and look forward to returning in the future.

Very good place

The premises is very nice, very clean and comfortable. The self catering unit was well equipped with everything you may need for self catering. The place is beautiful and peaceful. Loved the communication and flexibility I got when still planning the trip and the efforts made to make our birthday special. The only thing I didn’t not like was the rudeness from the lady that woke us up for breakfast on our last morning, she was very rude about how we must be at breakfast by 08:00 ( which o think of breakfast is between 08:00 and 10:00 then guests should have the flexibility between those times). The girl banged the door and rudely communicated how we need to be there at 08:00. She needs general customer service communication training as all my encounters with her were not pleasant. The rest of the staff was amazing.

The Raptor Retreat Game Lodge was definitely the most beautiful on our trip to South Africa. We received a very friendly welcome with African singing. The chalet was very large with 2 bedrooms and the kitchen was also very large and well equipped. The bathroom was integrated into the bedroom except for the toilet. There was a very large shower and a great bathtub with a great view outside. Everything was very clean. Our chalet had a very nice and above all quiet private outdoor area, a pool and a great view of a waterhole. Elephants, big boy (a kudu that was always around the lodge) and warthogs walked in the garden. Breakfast and dinner were served in the main house (restaurant) with a great view and beautiful ambience. Both were very rich and delicious. If you want to relax, this is the place to be. The hosts were very nice and also offered game drives, which we did. These are also recommended. This chalet exceeded our expectations and we would book there again in a heartbeat.

Great stay. Game drive was a bit quite animals wise and you need a 4x4 to cope with the ride in but a lovely place.

Foi uma das melhores experiências das nossas vidas! O Lodge é lindo, tudo muito bem organizado, limpo e agradável. O proprietários proporcionam um atendimento único aos hóspedes, totalmente personalizado! Atenção especial os proprietários que eram muito simpáticos, ao Antony nosso motorista do game drive, que se esforçou muito para que pudéssemos ver os Big 5, mas infelizmente não aconteceu, vimos apenas 1. E as camareiras, que deixavam o quarto sempre muito decorado, repunham sempre as águas, e deixavam tudo com um carinho especial!

le paradis sur terre

si le paradis sur terre existe, il est là ! hébergement grandiose, luxueux, vue sur un point d'eau où nous avons vu défiler des éléphants, phacochères et impalas. Les Games drive étaient incroyables, avec un excellent pisteur-guide : 5 bébés lions jouant à coté de la jeep, des éléphants à foison, un chacal, un lion male, des impalas et des zèbres le tout en deux jours

We had the most amazing stay at the lodge. The staff were so attentive and always smiling. The owners were fantastic- nothing was too much trouble . Keith was so animated and so keen to explain everything about the bush. His enthusiasm was infectious and we learnt so much. He is a real Doctor Doolittle. What could possibly beat sitting on your deck drinking early morning coffee as a male lion walked by.

A melhor escolha nos arredores Hoedspruit

O lugar é uma delícia! Ficamos no Hippo Logde que era enorme: Duas suítes, sendo 1 com banheira, sala de estar com tv, sala de jantar, cozinha equipada c varanda, piscina e área p acender uma fogueira. Ouvi de outros hóspedes que ficaram em quartos comuns que seus quartos eram enormes e super confortáveis. O café, o almoço e o jantar são servido na casa principal que tem lareira, sala de estar um deck de observação dos animais (lá aparece de esquilo a girafa) uma atração à parte. Tudo delicioso e super caprichado. Os donos, funcionários e eapecialmente a guia Arena são super atenciosos. Você pode deixar pra programar seus game-drives e outros passeios lá mesmo - eles fazem pra vc! O custo das coisas lá é bem justo! Super recomendo e de uma próxima, não ficaria em outro lugar!

Super schöne kleine Boutique-Anlage mit einem super familiärem Service, tollem Essen und modernen Zimmern. Zudem eignet sich die Location perfekt für einen Ausflug zur Panorama Route und ist ein guter Stopp bevor es in den Krüger Nationalpark geht. Eine echte Empfehlung!!!

Wunderbare Lodge mit persönlicher Note!

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und werden speziell diese Lodge immer als herausragend während unserer dreiwöchigen Rundreise in Erinnerung behalten. Die Zimmer, das Ambiente rundherum und das köstliche Essen haben 5 Sterne Niveau. Man fühlt sich bei den netten Gastgebern gut aufgehoben, gut beraten und hat trotzdem seine Privatsphäre. Die Game Drives und Ausflüge waren gut organisiert und im kleinen Rahmen individuell gestaltet.

Tres bonne adresse

Endroit merveilleux, beau et de bon gout. Le staff est au petit soin, la nourriture est excellente et variée (vraiment top les repas) je vous recommande vraiment cette adresse. Vue sur la riviere ou on a vu de la chambre des bisons, des girafes, des zebres, des singes, des phacocheres... Vraiment sympa et tres bon rapport qualité prix
