"The room was freezing cold. We had to ask to turn on the heater at 2am because there was no way to control it from the room. It turned on and then turned off again. We were freezing all night. "I should have guessed by the fact you can reserve a room by the hour, what kind of hotel this was. The walls were paper thin so that you could hear the piped music in the hall all night long, as if there was a party somewhere, and people constantly clattering around. The bed was big but the pillow rock hard and the mirror on the ceiling very interesting!"

"The room was clean & spacious - they warn there are many insects about Inc mosquitos but guiding a beetle out the front door was a 😱 I also recommend sitting on the lobby terrace in the afternoon; cooler in the shade & great views with a decent espresso! Staying for the Jazz:Refound festival in Cella Monte a few miles away......... you'll need the taxis they can organise or you'll be stuck unless you have your own car!! Do look around the Terruggia itself.......not much to it really but the hotel recommended a nearby restauran, Il Melograno, for my friend with specific dietary requirements and the place was fantastic for local food & wine e.g. olive oil from within a few miles 🤗"
