"The Pod was amazing, we don’t think the photos do it justice! We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay and would love to visit again. Kevin and Michelle have thought of everything and were excellent with communicating details for directions and check in/out times. The location is brilliant, so close to St Ives and Carbis Bay, and the main bus route is right on the main road. Would highly recommend to anyone considering staying here. "

"Location location location. It is right in St Ives on the beach. Work out facilities were dated. Loud music playing with no consideration for guests working out. The restaurant is not a destination. Many other better options in the area. A watch out. If traveling with lots of luggage get ready for a strenuous pilgrimage from the train to the hotel up a winding path with stairs."

"We have stayed at the Cobbles several times over the years and as soon as you open the door it’s clean and cosy and welcoming. There is milk in the fridge and biscuits next to the kettle, flowers on the table. The bed is comfy too!It’s literally a couple of minutes from the beaches, the harbour, the shops and many restaurants and food outlets. The Tate gallery is just around the corner. The Sloop pub is right on the seafront and approx a minute’s walk from the Cobbles. Everything you could possibly need is on the doorstep. Absolutely perfect for a relaxing stay in St Ives. Parking in St. Ives is extremely rare and there isn’t a parking space near the Cobbles, but there is a parking space available a short walk away, just above the Tate. We’ve also arrived by train and the station is a manageable straight walk away.The host is wonderful! Communication is excellent. Judith is always there to reply to queries and solve any problems in a timely, friendly and helpful way. Experience and hindsight are wonderful things and I can’t imagine staying anywhere else in St. Ives now, knowing that the accommodation is just right and the host so accommodating.Thank you Judith!"

"Lovely hotel with excellent staff. The property is a little dated and could benefit from some refurbishment, but overall we had a pleasant stay. The only issue we experienced was parking on arrival, as there were no spaces available and we had plans for the day. However, the staff were extremely helpful, took my keys, and arranged to move the car as soon as a space became free. Their professionalism and willingness to help really made a difference."

"Expensive but excellent location on a quiet lane in the center of old St. Ives. Parking spot includef, but beware that it is a considerable distance away near the top of a steep hill on Bishop St. Not a problem, just need to allow time for that. Dropping off luggage and picking up again at the end is possible (recommended) by driving directly to the front door. Tight lanes and roads double as pedestrian walkways in the center. The unit itself was excellent and exceeded expectations. Quiet enough for a great sleep. The gas fireplace provided good heat on a chilly early season weekend. Electric heaters in the two bedrooms were also good. Good and very fast internet, though the provided Wi-Fi instructions were incorrect -- instead get the ssid/passwd from the back of the modem in the lounge."
