Perfect for our family

This was exactly the vacation we were looking for. Off the beaten path a bit and away from crowds. The home was fantastic, comfortable and well equipped. Very comfortable. Such a special place. Bambarra is out of a dream. Hopefully itt won’t get overdeveloped.

Best Getaway

This is all I imagined to be and more. It is so beautiful and we had the entire beach to ourselves. Karen was only a few minutes away with any questions and was so lovely to communicate with. The cottage has everything you need if not more. The pictures are very accurate if not 100 times better. I highly recommend eating at the Bambara beach and getting a rum drink the BEST food verses Mudjin cafe by far. I was so beautiful every one was so friendly and I cannot wait to be back. Thank you Karen ❤️

We had the most relaxing wonderful vacation. Our host, Karen was so helpful and very responsive. She provided us with all the little details to make arrival easy and stress free. The beach house has EVERYTHING and anything you need to enjoy yourself. The place was so comfortable and felt like home. We ventured all over north and middle caicos, discovering anything and everything. Our favorite spot was definitely Bambarra beach, where you will find the sweetest woman, cooking up some delicious local food! BEWARE of the Rum Punch. They are sneaky.

Beautiful beach hideaway

We loved our stay here! The house is very cute and has all you need to make your stay enjoyable from all the basic kitchen needs to snorkeling gear to check out the little coral reef down the beach! The beach is amazing and feels like your own private spot. Everyone on the island was so kind and helpful and we enjoyed getting to explore. There are only a couple spots for restaurants on the island. But they were delicious and of course cooking at the place was easy with the stocked kitchen. It’s more remote so if you’re expecting a resort area may not be your cup of tea but we loved hanging out by the beach and seeing the turtles swim by. Very cool!

beautiful property

What a great property. The unit is very spacious. Kitchen is nice sized and stocked with pretty much everything. I travel with my bestie so it was nice to each have our own room. Each bedroom has its own ac unit so you can each be comfy. Bathroom is large. Water is drinkable out of tap. Once you book you will receive an email from host with a great deal of information about the Islands - I recommend printing it. I went everywhere she suggested. Other people we met were not aware of some of the stuff she told us about. The private beach is so nice. You can see down to bamberra where the awesome food shacks are. Every meal on north and middle was absolutely amazing. There is a bbq on friday nights that is a social event - very fun. The locals are so nice. They would just stop and help us when we were lost. One had us follow him bc we kept missing atm. One thing to note is this is a small island overall. My cell worked but most people i met theres did not. They provide a cell at home. One other thing is internet can be spotty all over north and middle. One day none of the businesses had internet so they couldn't take credit cards. Bring cash. There is one atm. The bugs can get bad on days with no breeze - there was only one day that was bad for us - bring bug spray. You will need it if you go to caves (recommend). The host responds to emails pretty much immediately to answer questions. The couple next to us has been staying with this host for years and also speak very highly of them. Totally loved this home and island - best vacation I have ever had. 10 out of 10

Beachside getaway

As residents in Provo, this was a nice getaway to a quite setting on a beautiful beach. The accommodation is a rustic looking cottage, but it is clean and well fitted with all the amenities you'd need for a comfortable getaway. Central AC, full kitchen, outdoor shower and wood BBQ, lots of lounging spaces to relax. Property owner and cottage manager were both responsive and easy to work with. We will be back, hopefully soon!

great retreat

this is a great place for a very private getaway. be prepared to be largely on you own. generally no restaurants for dinner but a well stocked kitchen, particularly if you want to bake bread!
