Very convenient location with a great breakfast

Staff is great! Breakfast is the best I’ve had in a while. Very nice selection and service. Great location - easy to get to. We had a car and were able to park at the hotel which was very helpful. The rooms are very basic with no decor so feel a bit outdated, but were clean. The bed had one small and very soft pillow which wasn’t ideal for me (I didn’t ask for another but I’m guessing we could’ve gotten more).

Charming hotel and a caring attitude

Hotel Wilde Rose is also called a 'guest house' in its publicity, and this shows itself in the friendly atmosphere and care taken by the staff. It is situated with quick access to the beautiful Old Town, right next to GruneMarkt. Be aware that check-in closes at 6.00pm! However, if you ring the hotel to say that you need to arrive later, the helpful proprietress will give you a keycode to input on arrival, and the keys to enter the property and your own room will be released to you via a sort of 'letterbox'. As this is a historic building (1628!) I also discovered that there is no lift. The proprietress had me down for a room on the 3rd floor, but kindly changed this to the 1st floor, when I explained that I had a heavy suitcase! It worked out OK. The Wilde Rose was a very pleasant, authentic and relaxing place to stay, and a good base to explore the historic city.

Ok værelse god placering, en havde problemer med at få nøglen, da der intet personale var kl 20. Ingen aircon på værelset, så var varmt og meget larm fra gaden, så ikke nemt med åbent vindue.

Mitten im Zentrum von Bamberg gelegen ist die Wilde Rose ideal gelegen um die Stadt zu erkunden, wenn man das Hotel erstmal gefunden hat. Parkplätze des Hotels sind knapp

Acorde a las fotos, un hotel con muchos años que se mantiene en el tiempo. El estacionamiento no es tal cual, se deja el auto con las llaves en el acceso. No había lugar, entran muy pocos autos. Pero nos recomendaron uno a unas cuadras. Todo bien.

Nice but noisy

Great location. Easy walkable to city center. Friendly staff and good breakfast. Nice but very noisy area. Loud and kept us up until after 1 am then service trucks started at 6am. Not a restful stay and glad we only stayed 1 night. Difficult street to drive to. Pedestrian area.

Unser Aufenthalt in der „Wilde Rose“ war sehr angenehm. Vor Allem lag es an dem Personal, der aufmerksam, hilfsbereit und freundlich zu den Gästen war. Genau richtig für uns

Wegen Zugsverspätungen war Checkin erst nach 18:00 möglich, leider ging der Code für den Schlüsselkasten an die Mailadresse, und unterwegs bin ich nicht per Mail erreichbar. Dank Telefon konnte ich den Code erfahren.
