"There are flies everywhere in the kitchen, which is absolutely unacceptable. The air conditioning is on a timer, so in the middle of the night you end up overheating — especially if you like sleeping under blankets. For some reason, they think it’s fine to turn off the AC in guest rooms, yet the lobby AC stays on for them 24/7. "I only stayed here for 12 hours as a stop point but I almost wish I stayed longer. Very clean, welcoming and comfortable place. Cute theme and good location. Beds are comfortable and allow good space. You get a free coffee or tea once you arrive which is nice. They looked like they had a lot of activities you could do. I would come back."

"Nice and clean hostel in VTE. Location is good, food and easy to go riverside/ bus station/ morning market by walk 5 mins. Need to improve toilet and rest room due to no shampoo no soap and no tissue paper. Staff have to check every 3-4 hours. No towel provide. And when I come here it raining, 3rd level in front of rest room has a lot of water on the walk way. But overall is good. Clean hostel and comfortable bed. Will go back again."

"Leo was a very kind host, the property has comfortable bedrooms and air conditioning, the location is very near to the airport and the basic breakfast is complete with cereal, toast and eggs. "The Salana Hotel is a wonderful place to stay. It is so convenient to restaurants, cafes, night markets etc. Our room on the 5th floor was really quiet. The staff are very friendly and the girls on the front desk all spoke English. The Spa was excellent. I had a lovely facial there. The breakfast provided a wide range of food including delicious soups. They even made flat white coffee and they were excellent. I’d love to stay at the Salana again. "
