"Beautiful property to stay at. The grounds are very well maintained. Beautiful pool (unheated but nice and cool on a hot day!). Wonderful coffee shop. Very nice restaurant (I used for breakfasts). The architecture of the newer buildings (restaurant, coffee shop, tea house) is really nice and modern and fits wonderfully in with the rustic feel and look of the old tobacco barns. "I loved the hotel property. Very spacious room; lovely grounds bordering the Ping River. The staff was friendly, professional and helpful. The only drawback (no fault to the hotel itself) is that there is not much to see within walking distance. One can always rent a car or hire a taxi or whatever. "
