Once in a lifetime experience.

Ramon's homestay is a great place to stay in Batad. The rooms are rustic with that provides basic needs for a homestay. You're provided with million dollar views and if you get to meet Mang Ramon, you are in for a treat as his hospitality is that "home" feel that you are looking for.

Unforgettable experience

Keep in mind this is a humble home. My brother stayed here in 2011 and recommended me this place. The hospitality in Ramon homestay is trully warming, and if you're lucky Ramon will share sole stories with you. The place is simple, simple beds, simple toilet and an amazing view to the rice terraces

Ramon’s Homestay is an excellent spot for backpackers wishing to visit Batad and it’s beautiful rice terraces. Perfectly accommodating for the price, and excellent hosts, including Ramon himself, who give great information on the local culture and area.

スタッフはみなフレンドリーで親切です。 高台にあり、棚田が一望できます。 ここの眺めは素晴らしい！ 私はイフガオ族の住居に泊まり、すごく良い経験ができました。 肌家電1つなので結構暗いです。 電源はキッキンのコンセントを借ります。 夜中にカサカサ音がしました。ネズミかもしれません。気になる人は一般の部屋に泊まってください。 電波が通じないので、Xperiaの予約画面を用意しておいた方が良いです。 近所の売店でバウチャーを買うと時間制限でスマホが使えるようになります。

世界遺産のバタッド村の中にあるイフガオ族の伝統的な家

世界遺産のバタッド村の中にある、イフガオ族の伝統的な家に滞在できます。イメージとしては、白川郷の合掌造りの家に滞在する感じです。 Google Mapで検索すると、Banaue View Pointの近くに表示されますが、間違いです。 Banaueの中心地からトライシクルorジープニーに40分乗り、そこから20分くらい歩くとバタッド村の入り口に着きます。そこから急な石段を下るなどして5分ほど歩くと着きます。分かりにくいので、バタッド村でのガイドを雇うことをオススメします。気軽には行けないので、Banaueの棚田を気軽に見るだけの人はオススメしません。因みに、村の中の電波は圏外で電話もほとんどの場所で使えません。 周りに似たようなロッジが沢山あり、西洋人のバックパッカーが多く利用しているようです。 電波がないので、ネット予約してもスタッフの方に把握されていなかったです。村に入る前に予約したことが分かるメールや予約確認をダウンロードしておくと用意すると良いです。 部屋が埋まってしまうと、伝統的な家ではなく、母屋のゲストハウスに滞在することになるので、夜行バスでBanaueに着いて一息ついたら向かうと良いと思います。 不便な点は多いですが、スタッフさんはとても親切なので、とても良い経験になると思います。
