"Room was not very clean. We had a mouse running around one night! The porch area outside of our room was dirty. Some of the staff acted like they didn't want to be bothered. Food at the lodge was expensive! We won't be staying here next time we are in the area. On a positive note, the main building was clean. There was music and a great view from the main porch."

"Make sure you look @ all amenities because our 1st room had no tv and no AC. Front desk accomodated us and put us in a new room. Food was ok and pricey but there is space for you to enjoy the scenery outside and bring your own stuff."

"This is my third stay at this property. It has always had clean rooms, beautiful landscaping and is very quiet. They do provide cleaning during your stay without request. The staff is not super friendly or helpful and there are very minimal amenities - coffee is not available until 6 am which is not great for horse show visitors. Overall, it is a decent place to stay for the night and good value."

"A nice place to spend a night while on travel. It appears as if they are in the process of facility updates and making good progress. Room was okay clean but several un-vacuumed areas with accumulated dust (under chairs, behind curtains, under beds). Breakfast was above average for “breakfast included” type places."

"Bedbugs in Room 207 (July 20, 2026) was discovered at 1am on nightstand — went to front desk was changed roomed and then found one on my bag that was in nightstand — I’ve had zero help with this issue. The poor young girl at the front desk doesn’t know what to do. She’s called the manager several times and nothing. I don’t want to leave to infest another hotel. No help with luggage. Nothing. No remedy. Have to wait till morning to get it figured out since my luggage will not be going in my car...
