Lonesome Dove · 1915 Cabin Across From 11th St

Lonesome Dove sits directly across the street from the 11th Street Cowboy Bar. Main Street's shops and restaurants are a walk away, and Bandera City Park on the Medina River is about a block and a half.



The building dates to 1915 and has been restored with a warm barn wood interior. The bedroom has a queen bed and its own Roku TV, and a queen pull-out couch in the living area makes room for two more, with a second Roku TV. The bathroom has a large walk-in shower. The kitchen is fully equipped, with a K-cup coffee maker. Central air and heat, Wi-Fi and good cell service are all here, and linens are provided.



Out front, a shaded porch has a table and seating, and the old hitching posts are still there. From the porch, Bandera goes by.

WHY WE LIKE IT

What we tell people about Lonesome Dove is that it is small on purpose. It is a 1915 building restored with a barn wood interior, and vintage hitching posts still stand out front. It is built for a couple, not a group. Plenty of guests who stay once book it again.
