"The staff were above and beyond helpful with meals, dry cleaning, and recommendations. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious each day. The room was large, modern, clean, and facing away from the noise of the streets. The view was lovely and private. I think we had a much better stay than our travel companions who stayed at another hotel 4 minutes away. I would recommend Hotel Amigo to anyone travelling to Mumbai. "Its an excellent budget hotel in an area of Mumbai that has a lot of life. I was the only white female I saw for days but had no troubles infact had an excellent time meeting people. The jewel in their crown is the restaurant downstairs- the food is spectacular. Even if you don’t stay come eat here and walk the neighbourhood - though I only kept to main roads and not the alleyways and slums. An overall excellent experience I would highly recommend. "

"This is 3 star hotel so fell right within our expectations. Nothing flash but quite satisfactory. We were having dental work at Dentzz just a few minutes walk around the corner so brilliant location for that. Staff were friendly and conscientious. "The location was close to lilavati hospital which was very convenient for me and family. The staff and all of reception were polite and accommodating. The food at their restaurant was nice, a bit inconsistent, and the view from the restaurant terrace was excellent. Overall the room was old, had a smell and paint peeling off various parts. "You get what you pay for. This is a budget, one star hotel that is cheap. It is basic, cramped, and in no way attractive. You get somewhere clean to sleep, to wash and keep your stuff safe while you go exploring or on your business in Mumbai. There were some mosquitos in my room but it took very little time to sort that out, I checked and found no bed bugs. "They are very unprofessional. Even though I had 2 room reservation for my family, when I checked in they said we have no room reserved. I had to find another hotel by taxi in that time.
