"Liked everything except the lack of an elevator. Dinner was fantastic. Special thanks to Colin who served us breakfast. Had a very informative conversation with him."
"Huntly offers very few hotels, sadly, this is one of them. It’s miserable, cold, has damp in the wardrobe and is overall an expensive dump charging £130 a night. "
"We loved staying at the Leslie Castle. John & Nicole were great. We came by train and then planned to go by Uber to the Castle and found the one driver was on holiday. John & Nicole were so gracious to come and pick us up. Food was great. Nicole does a history of the castle after dinner each night which was so enjoyable and a tour of the castle. Our room was huge and we loved every minute of it. We walked to the little Hamlet of Leslie and met some of the locals. The weather was great...
"An excellent glamping site with a chilled atmosphere and lovely landscape.
We stayed in the Wheelhouse which is perfect for 2. It was rustic with nice basic facilities.
The wee on site shop had ample supplies (bring cash for it). The area was lovely to walk around and we enjoyed the fishing hut community hub.
We enjoyed our stay and loved the quirky site. Would definitely come back. "
