"I checked in last night, March 21st 2026 and unfortunately had a really disappointing experience. The hostel itself has potential, and I honestly would have given it 5 stars based on the facilities and location alone. However, my stay was overshadowed by one staff member who was extremely rude and unwelcoming. From the moment I arrived, their attitude was cold, uninterested, and honestly quite off-putting. "The couple running this hostel are so nice!! The room is super clean and aircon works great and quiet. Has an amazing market just down the street for great breakfast and dinners. I stayed 9 nights and absolutely loved it. Thanks again and will return."

"I really enjoyed the staff and they were super helpful. The price was good as well. I had a great time doing their 12 step challenge, and if others have time/days to do it, they should because it will allow travelers to get to know other travelers or even the staff."
