"First, i tried to give 5 stars across the board but my phone would only show 4. Hotel is right off the beach road and is close to many places for coffee and restaurants. It has a restaurant (I didn’t use). Even though it runs parallel to soi 6, the rooms are sound proof. My room was totally quiet. Rooms are very spacious. Price was excellent. Staff are amazing. Reception and welcoming staff are extremely pleasant and helpful. Cleaning staff are amazing as well. Pool is large and well maintained. I liked the balcony. It was larger than some places i have stayed at. Rooms are modern and well maintained and the ensuite is huge. Wish my own house was as nice. Lol I cannot say enough about ALL the staff. I would highly recommend this place for price/value to room."

"On arrival, the whole premises was a WOW to me. through the winding entrance, I was led to a spacious reception and everything was the standard of "The Standard". The staff members were very helpful, helping with all the questions I raised efficiently. The room was comfortable with a good view. The staff member in the air-conditioned restaurant was not quite responsive, and I chose to dine at the Mexican one, getting drenched into the sea breeze and the staff members were very responsive and interactive. I had a wonderful time in the restaurant. The breakfast was quite disappointing; I was the first one to attend the venue at around 0645, but most of the hot food was not heated up properly. The congee should be otherwise prepared warm enough but in the end, it was lukewarm."
