"This is a lovely boutique hotel adorned with antique toy memorabilia. The restaurant offers a fantastic setting on the canal that’s full of wildlife. The property itself is surrounded by coconut farms. It’s a short drive to several floating markets, the train market and temples. The pool is quiet and relaxing. The staff were friendly and helpful. "The maid can be rude. She sprayed copious amounts of disinfectant spray in my room, but not other rooms. It made me feel discrimination and seemed to imply that foreign people stink. I was having plumbing trouble at home so I rented a room for a week so I would have a place to shower. So it's not like I had stinky dirty clothes or durian in the room. I would come in the morning and shower then leave again. That particular day I had additional appointment so I returned to the room to take an extra shower. The room was so full of disinfectant spray that a window had to be opened. I had only been gone 3 hours. That was incredibly rude, childish, and very racist. "
