Gem of Chinatown

Lovely hotel nestled in the side streets of Chinatown, with some the best river and cityviews. Peaceful location with no traffic. Very friendly staff. Nice breakfast options. Stayed here for a long weekend and enjoyed my stay. Will book again.

The hotel is my favorite hotel in Bangkok. It is simple, it is clean, it is quiet and the staff is very nice. It is located in the historic and iconic Talad Noi area. You just have to experience it by staying there.

Absolytely not if driving SUV. No safe parking for car either. Grazy narrow and occupied streets around. Backpackers may find this location and hotel OK but as family with car better to skip this place. Gave up and turned around before damaging our car and did not even saw hotel.

Quite nice little hotel in chinatown. Small narrow alleys (Soi) made it difficult to find at first. The room was ok with a nice view over the river (Chao Phraya) from the balcony. Its an old building with som charming old details in the room. We liked it here an will probably come back.

The hotel is a real gem in the area with lots of small dealers who mainly sell used metal parts from cars. The hotel itself is highly recommended. It takes a bit of getting used to that you can't drive right up there. You have to walk the last 100 to 200 meters. It's a bit awkward with large luggage. The rating of the area is a compromise: if you're looking for a luxury vacation, this is the wrong place (1 star). If you want to experience how many people really live in Bangkok, this is the right place (5 stars). From the 5th floor you have a good view of the river. There is a restaurant on the 8th floor (which I unfortunately couldn't visit).

This was my fourth stay at this hotel on this trip. I'm always impressed by the simple beauty of the hotel, the friendliness of the staff, and the location in the Talad Noi district. I will definitely book it again on my next trip to Bangkok.

Enjoyed the staff. Don't recommend checking in late if you don't know your way around. Cab driver from the airport can't get to it so you have to walk narrow streets at night. Would never have found it without google maps.
