"What a beautiful cabin in a quiet, private setting! Our family of 6 really enjoyed our time at Grandpa’s Cabin - close enough to beaches, dining & entertainment to make for a fun time & secluded enough to have a place to unplug & unwind without worrying about the neighbors. Our kids 16 really enjoyed the private lake as well! Clean, nicely appointed- would definitely recommend."

"From the start of the rental process in late 2024 until our trip this past weekend. Our host was absolutely wonderful! The house is at the end of a cute cottage lined road, and the directions provided were spot on!The house was amazing. We picked the property for 2 reasons, it sleeps 14 and was on a lake. The house has every convenience you’d expect, plus more! There is a gym, a kids play area, every yard game you can imagine, and a fully stocked fire pit. There were so many floats for the lake, we had a race across the lake with everyone on their own floatie (10 adults!)The lake is a little weedy, but the owners keep up on the swim area so it is sandy. But if you are a pool person, you will want some swim shoes. Highly recommend for a peaceful relaxing family stay! Oh.. and the squirrel that likes the bird feeder near the door is Ralph. "

"Second time - better than the first. Can’t say enough about Craig and Lesly- what wonderful hosts. My 5 grandchildren practically turned into fish and only would get out of the pool to eat or play on the all sports court. At night everyone caught up with movies because the kids in one large living room could watch their favorites and the grownups could watch theirs in another great room. With a running ping pong contest the whole week with the table in the garage “play room” - I (the Papa) was barely able to prove to my young boys that you do not underestimate the old man. "Black bear lodge exceeded our expectations! A lovely, well-maintained space that was impeccably decorated with so many fun games and activities. We roasted marshmallows in the fire pit, thoroughly enjoyed the game room foosball table and wi games. Coffee was provided for peaceful mornings on the wrap-around porch, and we had all the things we needed to cook and grill meals at the house. We can’t say enough good things about our week there. We will definitely be booking again!"
