Went to Seven devils for an overnight girls trip and had a lovely time! This house has plenty of room, no one was cramped and decor was very cozy. The view from the house is beautiful; highly recommend having a hot coffee or tea while enjoying the view on the deck. Owners are very nice, informative and communicate quickly.
Property overall was well kept and nice inside enough for family get together and kids TV shows were available. Ample kitchen supplies for coffee, sodas, plates and bowls, etc. Not owners fault but it rained when we got there and Friday at Tweetsie Railroad. It stopped long enough to enjoy the rides and train ride. Please note it up a a moutain rode that due to weather was slick and of course at night was not well lighted.Very nice place, receptive owner, if questions were asked. Not really a bad time.
Gorgeous location and place have LOTS of potential.
House is in an awesome location and great set up. The potential for this place is as far as they want to take it. Owners were absolutely AMAZING from the time we booked to the time we left. Cleanliness was our biggest concern. I know a lot of people hire a cleaning company to handle rentals so this may NOT be at the fault of the owner. We removed shoes at the door and within an hour the bottom of our feet were black with dirt. Lots of random unfinished decor. Nails hanging out of wall with nothing on them and lots of what appeared to be DIY projects. Outside was a little rough looking too. Not sure the sheets were clean. Towels still had plastic tags on them. Cobwebs in most corners. Sheets being requested to be left on the beds at checkout kind of made me think that maybe the sheets don’t get changed. Everything just felt dirty. Again, I don’t know that blame falls on the owner for cleanliness as they may have someone hired who’s not doing the job they are being paid to do. With a new cleaning company I would definitely come back. The other complaints are more cosmetic and just suggestions on how to make the place more appealing.
We enjoyed our stay and loved the view. We found the owners to be very responsive and the digital door lock made check-in easy! This property is close to lots of hikes and fun things to do. The weather was perfect and we are glad we had 4WD to get up the driveway.
Loved this house! Lots of room, beautiful views, the kids loved the downstairs. The master bath tub was amazing and the bed was the most comfortable I have slept in! We will definitely be back. The host was also very quick to respond!
We truly enjoyed our stay, check in was easy, the view was spectacular, and we especially loved relaxing by the outdoor firepit and on the sectional sofa. It made for a wonderful and memorable weekend!
The home was well appointed, it was clean, it had a great deck and outdoor fireplace. It was very easy to communicate with the hosts, the neighbors were wonderful and they accommodate pets! The proximity to otter falls was also excellent. We will definitely be back.

We love this neighborhood at the top of seven devils - it has great views of grandfather mountain and is quiet and peaceful. We love all the wildlife we see in this neighborhood and have stayed in several homes now. My biggest issue with this house was that the photos did not reflect reality on the flooring situation - we have a niche problem in that we have a senior dog who does not walk well on hardwood floors and we specifically chose this house because it was carpeted main floor but upon arrival the floors in the main living area are all wood which made our time there more difficult. Otherwise the home was fine and just had minor issues that I will bring to the owners attention privately.
We loved the location and property! The cabin had all the amenities or two families with small children, twin beds in the two main bedrooms was a great highlight. Owener was extremely easy to communicate with and location to Hawk's Next is IDEAL.
Great place for a big family or family and friends. Kids had a blast with multi stories and place was well stocked in the kitchen. Would return, we love being in NC! View is beautiful, don’t kiss the early sunrise it’s incredible!
We had a wonderful time during our stay. The hosts were hands down amazing. They let us get in early when my son got car sick, responded quickly to every message I sent and made sure our stay was great. The house is walking distance to tubing which was amazing when we got 4-5 inches of snow and ice so we didn’t even have to move our cars. House was cozy and comfy. We had a wonderful time. .

We loved the property inside but there was no toilet paper and the pans are rusted and old, a blender would be great. Outside needs some cleaning around the property.
My family of five and two in-laws loved the house. It's got a great set-up for the kids with entertainment (basketball, tv and Xbox 360) and bunk beds in the finished basement. The setup allows those sleeping in the basement bedroom to be insulated from any noise in the rest of the house and the sunrise for sleeping in. The master bedroom is huge with very nice bedding and the master bathroom is beautiful. The main living area offers a view of grandfather mountain. Christian and Taylor were fantastic hosts and extremely responsive, providing local eating and entertainment options and answering every question very quickly. They provided a lot of incidentals to make things a little easier. The driveway is quite steep, so beware if you are driving a low vehicle, like my minivan with a trailer hitch below the bumper. Thank goodness they salted the driveway, because although it is asphalt, in very good condition, I doubt I could have gotten my minivan up it if there had been snow on it. My family saw deer several times, built great fires in the fireplace and spent time finding constellations in the night sky. The house is also extremely close to Hawksnest Snow Tubing and Zipline; the focus of our trip. Highly recommended.
This house is well laid out to support multiple families. There is a bedroom on every level, and every bedroom had room for parents and child (or one more). The home had plenty of room in the dining/family room area and another family room in the basement. The kitchen was well stocked and had 2 refrigerators. We were 3 families visiting our college kids for parents weekend and felt like we were able to spread out. We loved the area (VERY steep driveway) and the views. The deck was nice and large.
Our only negative is that the house wasn’t as clean as it could have been. There were dust bunnies and cobwebs in corners, the ceiling fan had a very thick layer of dust, and the beds in the basement didn’t seem like the sheets had been washed. Those little things made it feel a little less nice.
Overall, the house was great and we would stay there again.
We had a great weekend getaway in mountains! We love Seven Devils and this cabin did not disappoint. It was clean, great location, and great views. We will definitely consider it for the future!
My group had an incredible stay at Moose lodge.. we will be back! House was clean and owners were nice and responsiveness. We had a family get together and enjoyed this cozy home. We were amazed at how close we were to hawks nest tubing and we were also so close to Otters falls hike. I would recommend to this home to any family!
My family and I stayed here for one night. The property was clean. There was lots of room, beds and bathrooms. The tv wasn’t user friendly. There wasn’t a tv in the master bedroom. The basketball game was not there as it was mentioned in the posting. The board games were missing most of the pieces and were in different locations in the home. The host was extremely quick in helping me with any questions. I accidentally booked the wrong night and he helped me change my stay date without hesitation. I wasn’t disappointed overall, but for the money, the property could have been better maintained.
My family enjoyed our stay in the mountains. The host was very easy to contact and provided helpful information. The description of the house was accurate. It was a nice, relaxing vacation.
WOW this cute place met all our needs and then some. We were helping our daughter move out of college and wanted something convenient to everything and not be right in Boone. Everything seemed so close by. The place inside is adorable, clean and nicely done. We will be back again.
