Located less than five minutes from Sugar Mountain Ski Resort and Sugar Mountain Public Golf Course, this 4-bedroom cabin is an ideal home for a year-round mountain getaway. Sugar Mountain is a prime tourist destination with local dining, shopping, and parks. Enjoy fresh mountain air riding on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Hikers of varying skill levels will enjoy the outdoors by hiking on one of the trails off the Parkway. Grandfather Mountain and the famous Mile-High Bridge are only seven miles away, where guests of all ages can enjoy the hiking trails and wildlife exhibits. Downtown Banner Elk, home to Lees-McRae College, is a seven-minute drive with local shopping and dining. Banner Elk Winery and Grandfather Vineyard and Winery are both about six miles from the Village of Sugar Mountain.

This cabin has an inviting, open living space with leather furniture, a wood-burning fireplace, and a wall-mounted Pac-Man 13-in-1 arcade machine. The living room opens up to a dining area and a modern kitchen featuring quartz countertops and stainless-steel appliances. The wall of windows leads to a spacious main floor deck, perfect for outdoor dining with a gas grill, gas fire table, and Adirondack chairs. Enjoy the mountain air and views from the new hot tub on the deck!

On the main floor, there's a king bedroom and a bunk room with two twin-over-double bunk beds sharing a hallway bathroom. The lower level includes two king bedrooms with access to the lower-level deck. These bedrooms share a Jack-and-Jill bathroom and have a mini-fridge nearby for added convenience. Each room has a TV.

There are mini-splits in each bedroom and one in the main-level living area, providing year-round comfort with heat and air conditioning. Two dogs are welcome with your reservation, and pet fees will apply. Firewood is available for an additional fee. Winter travelers should prepare for inclement weather. AWD or 4WD vehicles, along with tire chains, may be necessary.
