We stayed here to enjoy a small mountain getaway. Sugar mountain is around the corner, the BG resorts has a clubhouse area where they do activities for the guest. And there is a small pond you can walk around. Also they groomed the roads in the winter. So never worried about driving around. We will be back!

Enjoyable visit

We really enjoyed the property, it’s location, and proximity to Sugar Mountain and Banner Elk. The check-in process was smooth, although not touch-free, but there was knowledgeable staff available for our late (9ish) check-in. The room was clean with plenty of towels and kitchen utensils for our small family. The roads got a little icy the morning we were leaving but seemed well taken of (clear) the rest of the weekend.

Great location in Banner Elk

This is a great location in central Banner Elk and Sugar Mountain if you don't want to drive way up a steep mountain road. We loved it, being from Fla we didn't have 4x4 for the snow and this location was great! The staff is wonderful! We enjoyed the fire pit(s) nightly. Lots of amenities for families. Basic utensils/plates/cups. No spices, sprays. Older but very clean and great set up for 2 adults and 3 teens. Perfect family vacation in a winter wonderland!!

Great location Basic accommodations were adequate--slept good Turned on oven to cook a pizza ---smoke came out of oven and vent on top of stove ---cleared up ---had oven cleaner been used on oven before we arrived? Curious about all the smoke---opened sliding doors and odor and smoke cleared. Used Cigarette butts on ground near front door --- unsightly

convenient location

The convenience to Banner Elk, Sugar Mountain, Grandfather Mountain, Linville falls and Boone is fantastic. The property was well maintained, with the exception of the outdoor grills. Plenty for young and old to do. Interior was a bit dated but clean. They responded to all our concerns promptly. No pool, and they said some villas did not have internet. Luckily our unit did but bless the souls with teens that dont have internet. Connections in that area are spotty at best.

Great condo but.. NO POOL!

Came to the area for a Thanksgiving getaway with just our immediate family. Condo was exactly like pictured, loved the fireplace and open living room. We just had 2adults and 2 kids but see how larger groups would fit fine. Kitchen was nice, quality cookware and dinnerware but more place settings would be helpful. Stove, oven, microwave, fridge etc were all great (and washer&dryer too!). Sheets and towels were nice as well but king mattress did not work well for us. As far as community amenities, my kids enjoyed the puttputt, tennis, corn hole and walking by the lake. HUGE disclaimer.. there is NO pool!!! While we enjoyed our stay, the pool and hot tub were non negotiable on my want list and we would not have booked knowing this is PERMANENTLY closed!! I didn't receive anything more then it's out if their control when I contacted the company back thru vbro.. I only booked my stay 6 weeks prior, so I'm sure it was closed when I booked it.

Property was easy to find and good size for our family of four. We spent lots of time in traffic even though the property is super close to Sugar Mountain. Main bath shower is awkward due to whirlpool tub. All else exceeded expectations

Ski weekend stay

We stayed for the weekend to ski at sugar mountain. Location was great for getting to the mountain. Only 5 min drive. Easy check in process. Property was clean. A little outdated but was great for our needs. Beds were comfortable. Master bedroom door had a crack in and master bathroom a little outdated but otherwise good.

We loved it here! I was so cozy and great space for our family. The only thing we were real bummed about was the pool being permanently closed on this property due to structure. It should probably be taken off of the pictures and amenities. The pool was one of the reasons we booked. Otherwise is was a great stay!
