We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property! The home is absolutely gorgeous, thoughtfully decorated, and set in truly unforgettable scenery. It can use a little more cleaning to make an experience even better.
The Host is very responsive, kind and helpful.
My parents who are both almost 80 joined us. I was worried about how they would navigate any place we stayed fearing stairs would be an obstacle. The place was perfect from the drive up canopy to the chair lift on the atairs!!!
Rented this gorgeous house to accommodate 15 (4 families/all Alumni) for a 50th BDay celebration. It was everything we needed with plenty of room, entertainment, and views Thank you for helping us to keep our annual get together, it was memorable
Overall we really liked the property. We loved that it was easy to get in and out for my Mom with mobility issues. The location was good and we saw deer every day. It snowed two days in a row. We had a blast seeing and playing in it. Cons: the beds are way too high for children and the elderly. I would highly consider removing the box springs especially in the middle room. That bed is extremely to high. The house was not as clean as I would have liked. Stains on the sheets in the last bedroom on your right and the pull out sofa in the basement. Hair in the shower in the basement as well. I would consider looking into a new cleaning crew.
Downstairs heat uses same thermostat as upstairs so never really warms up downstairs making it a 4 bedroom not 5.
Was told that was normal and they gave us space heaters
The rental process was easy, the property beautiful and had all the basic essentials, the road up to the house was very curvy but it was a great place, great time had by all. Especially great for the kids as the Ziplining could be seen from the house
Home was cozy and spacious, but make sure to pack extra toiletries and paper towels. :/
We loved that the kids could play downstairs and adults hung out on first floor. Great location. In regards to the town, everything was busy. Sugar Mtn and Beech Mtn were super busy. They need better systems in place. We didn’t get into Beech and kids didn’t get to go tubbing bc sold out. We are thankful our stay was relaxing at least.
