Relax to the sound of a babbling brook from the balcony of this beautiful condo located at the base of Sugar Mountain. Just a short drive to golf and tennis and within walking distance to the ski slopes, this condo features a fully equipped kitchen, a stone fireplace with gas logs, washer and dryer, Wi-Fi, cable TV, and a bathtub with jets. This unit will sleep 6 with a King-sized bed in the master bedroom, 2 Twin beds in the guest room, and a sleeper sofa in the living area. Enjoy access to the Branches Clubhouse where you may relax under a big-screen TV, read from the collection of books, or join in a game of foosball or ping-pong. Non-smoking. No pets allowed. No Check-in's Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day. All guests required to sign their rental agreement within 7 days of booking.

Good for what we needed!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property location is why you stay here as it is a walk on and off the slopes lodging. Everything seemed to be in working order, but the unit and the condos as a whole are quite old and dated. ALso note that there are alot of steps to get to the slope and it is the busiest of slopes at Sugar Mt.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I enjoyed the location and the lay out of the condo. Everything seemed clean with the exception of the carpet in the thin bed room appeared to be unvaccumed (chip crumbs) and disturbing black mold in the master bathtub. The master bath tub did not drain well and the tea kettle is rusted out on the inside and therefore unusable. I strongly recommend updating the bedspreads, carpet and lamps. They are old and give appearance of uncleanliness as a result.

Guest bathroom shower head broken so everyone used the master. Also the master bath TUB would not hold water (stopper seal broken)

Clean and spacious

While the property is certainly dated, we were very pleased with the cleanliness and layout of the condo. We stayed in many other rentals in other tourist locations where the cleaning was spotty at best, ie dirty socks and feet while walking around the house. The master bedroom was large and had a wonderful view. The gas log fireplace was a treat. The kitchen, while dated, was well-stocked with all the essentials and more. It was very convenient to walk down the steps to a small playground and also to hop on the beginner slope. A few notes to consider: 1. If there is snow, you really need an appropriate vehicle/tires to get there. Our family vehicle was in the garage and we had a Chrysler Pacifica as a rental. Thank goodness my husband had experience driving in the snow because the Pacifica didn't help with the climb or descent. The narrow hairpin curves really require confidence to maneuver, especially in the winter months. 2. There are about ~15-20 steps to go down from parking lot to condo entrance. Not handicap accessible or ideal for people with mobility issues.

The condo was clean and we were provided with ample amenities that we weren’t expecting, which was nice (paper towels, dishwashing soap, soap for all bathrooms, dish towels). The condo is very dated and the beds feel old and uncomfortable. There was mold on the shower curtain which I feel is an easy fix - just change the shower curtains once a year or so. The fireplace stopped working on our second day. We did not report the problem because we were only staying one more day. There was a cute little playground outback which the kids loved, even in the snow.
