Summary:
Unique and exceptional: a 12th-century chapel transformed into an oil mill in the 20th century, now fully renovated in Banyuls-sur-Mer, just a 7-minute walk from the beach and shops.

A charming restored home with 3 bedrooms for 6 people, organized around a patio and a covered terrace shaded by bougainvillea: the tranquility of a small country house in the city, the luxury of an interior garden, offering dreamy moments with family or friends between the sea, mountains, and Catalan architecture.

The Space:
The house is equipped with fiber-optic WiFi, hot/cold air conditioning, and central heating.

All bedroom mattresses are new, the walls have been freshly painted, and the original tiles have been intentionally preserved.

From the street, you enter the house through a small garden of agapanthus and citrus trees, which borders a reserved parking space.

Walking through the high arched vault, you enter the chapel, furnished in Catalan style: a round wooden table for 8 and matching chairs, a large antique wardrobe, and access to the kitchen through a small vaulted passageway. In the living room, there are comfortable L-shaped sofas, a TV corner, and a French door leading to the patio—a wonderful haven of peace, perfect for dining, reading, dreaming, connecting, socializing, or even smoking. There's also a BBQ and a plancha.

Modern and fully renovated in 2024 with its brown Catalan tiles, the kitchen is equipped with a washing machine, dishwasher, hood, induction cooktop, electric oven, microwave, and a large fridge/freezer .

From the sink or the wooden round table, you have a lovely view of the patio's blooming plumbago.

On the garden level, with a window opening onto the patio terrace, the PORT LLEGAT bedroom has a marine ambiance, a 160 cm bed, a mosquito net, and a wooden dresser and built-in wardrobe.

Nearby, the fully renovated bathroom (2024) is equipped with a large shower, suspended toilet, sink, and storage units.
At the back of the chapel, the CADAQUES bedroom, with a southern pastel ambiance, has a 140 cm bed, a window with a mosquito net overlooking the patio, and a beautiful wardrobe/closet.

Upstairs, under the vaulted ceiling, the MYSTIQUE bedroom is authentic with its wooden floor, a 140 cm bed, and a private WC.

The deep window frame holds two small collections of holy water fonts and ceramics, offering a stunning view of the patio and surrounding gardens.

- A mandatory \intermediate cleaning" fee is charged at the time of booking, which covers disinfection and preparation of the house between guests. We ask our guests to leave the apartment in the same condition they found it upon arrival (clean kitchen and bathroom, emptied fridge and cupboards, no visible dirt, trash removed, etc.). If the apartment is left dirty, the guest will be charged a fee deducted from the security deposit for extra cleaning time at a rate of €35/hour.
