Less than a mile away is the Town Hill Market, noted for its delicious homemade sandwiches and snacks, and where you can access the free Island Explorer shuttle from June to September. Our central location is a short drive to either Long Pond or Echo Lake (part of Acadia National Park) for swimming, kayaking and canoeing, as well as walks to the shore at the nearby Nature Conservancy or along the Blue Horizons pathway. Moss Mountain Cottage offers a heated and air-conditioned home, with a bright, spacious and open living, kitchen and dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, a laundry room, a first floor bedroom with ¾ bath (shower), two large 2nd story bedrooms that share a full bath with tub/shower combination, wireless internet, TV and Blueray DVD player (no cable - 17 local channels, Netflix and DVD library), games and books are all part of the package.
